Many expect Gonzaga to continue their streak of domination in this matchup. The Bulldogs have been throttling their opponents this season, winning every matchup except one by double digits. Drew Timme leads the pack, and his 23-point performance in the Elite Eight is a testament to his influence on the court. Corey Kispert and Jalen Suggs have also been stalwarts in the Bulldogs’ rotation.
UCLA has been somewhat of a Cinderella story during the tournament. As a #11 seed, it is quite remarkable they have made it this far given that the Bruins participated in the play-in game against the Michigan State Spartans just two weeks ago. Johnny Juzang helped the Bruins take down #1 Michigan last week by dropping 28 points. They will need peak performances from both Juzang and Tyger Campbell if they plan on taking down Gonzaga this evening.
